Today is the first #InternationalEqualPayDay 2020. This initiative by the United Nations, UN Women, and the International Labour Organization represents the efforts towards the achievement of equal pay for work of equal value. Across the globe women are still paid less than men, some regions are worse than others, and the numbers for women of color, women immigrants, Latinas, and women with children are even less.
